The symposium is open to anyone with an interest in muscle research and is a wonderful opportunity to share ideas and network with the local muscle research community. The event is held in a hybrid format, so there will be an option to join on Zoom if you are unable to attend in person.

THEME: Modeling and Metabolism in Muscle Research

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: We are honored to welcome Daniel Beard, PhD, from the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Beard’s research integrates computational modeling and metabolism, making him the perfect voice to lead this year’s theme.

SPECIAL SESSION ON METABOLOMICS: Thanks to a generous collaboration with the UW Nutrition Obesity Research Center (NORC), we’ll feature a dedicated session on metabolomics.

FEATURED CTMR INVESTIGATOR TALKS: You’ll hear from CTMR investigators, Princess Imoukhuede, PhD, of UW Bioengineering, and Michael Geeves, PhD, of the University of Kent.
